California Girl

​This one is called “California Girl”. The first painting I did and I had no idea I was going to make a series all year. I sat in my vacation rental unit in California and painted her. I looked at ideas on Pinterest. I had never painted a face before. I took the time to work on the eyes. I just realized she has no eyelashes, but thats ok. Everyone thinks I should live in California, I feel like I am home when I am there. She's happy, content and loving the beach. She will live in California one day.
