Kimberley Smith, the owner of KimberleyMSmith.com and Young at Heart Painting is known for designing and executing meaningful creative projects and experiences that make a difference in the community.
In 2026, their 1:1 Individual Support program that provides one to one engagement programs for seniors with Alzheimer's and unmet expressions, was recognized by the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA) for their partnership with Cooksville Care Centre local Long Term Care home in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
She has worked with executives from corporations such as: MNP, Samsung, Sheseido, CUPE, Catech, ICON, Extendicare, City of Richmond Hill and City of Toronto and over 50 Retirement and Long Term Care homes.
As a graduate of Graphic Communications and Advertising from George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario, Kimberley took her knowledge of graphic design, marketing, and leadership and operational expertise to bring the clients vision to life.
Kimberley worked in Long-Term Care for over 8 years, where she was responsible for admissions and occupancy and being a liaison in the community and where she also managed a 13-person team as Activity Director, giving her the skills to work in people centered environments. She worked as an Account Executive managing high end builders and developers in the real estate marketing field.
Inspired by her grandmother, in 2018, she started Young at Heart Painting which delivers creative experiences into Retirement and Long-Term Care communities. Together, they have reached over 15,000 seniors and has completed over 100 murals in under a year. Their programs are offered in Canada and the USA. The company hires professional artists in the community.
She has taken all of her knowledge here at Kimberley M Smith help her create her second company, Young at Heart Painting.
During the pandemic, she self published a book called My Life By Design: The Ultimate Transformational Journal & Workbook and has hosted over 50 group journaling workshops focused on brining clarity, empowerment, and personal growth to her community.
Kimberley has been featured on Brian Crombie Radio and CBC News The National and has delivered a TEDx-style talk in her hometown.
Drawing on her background in graphic design, marketing, and leadership, Kimberley has successfully built and promoted her own six-figure businesses while establishing herself as a recognized leader in senior programming and creative engagement industry.
