Kimberley Smith is a creative director and founder of KimberleyMSmith.com and Young at Heart Painting and known for designing and executing meaningful environments and experiences that actually get done - beautifully, professionally, and with heart.
Through KimberleyMSmith.com, she works directly with individuals and organizations to provide creative direction, strategic clarity, and hands-on execution for custom creative projects. With formal training in Graphic Communications and Advertising from George Brown College, and a background spanning design, marketing, and leadership, Kimberley brings a rare combination of creativity and operational expertise. Her career includes eight years in Long-Term Care, where she led admissions, marketing, and community outreach, and later managed a 13-person activation team as Activity Director - giving her deep insight into people, programs, and complex environments. In 2018, she founded Young at Heart Painting to bring connection, purpose, and professionally delivered creative experiences into Retirement and Long-Term Care communities. The company earned recognition in the City of Vaughan’s Social Innovation Challenge and later received grant funding from York Region to expand its impact. Today, Young at Heart Painting has reached over 13,000 seniors and has curated more than 1,000 events, delivering group and one-to-one programming as well as wall and door murals across Canada and the United States. The company works with a curated team of professional artists and also provides staff experiences that support morale, connection, and culture. Kimberley is the author of My Life By Design: The Ultimate Transformational Journal & Workbook and has hosted over 50 group journaling sessions focused on clarity, empowerment, and personal growth. She has been featured on Brian Crombie Radio and CBC News: The National, and has delivered a TEDx-style talk in her hometown.
